Calculation Details
- Map every entered grade to LSAC’s published conversion value.
- Multiply that value by the course credits and total the quality points.
- Divide total quality points by all included credits.

Estimated LSAC GPA = Σ(LSAC grade value × course credits) ÷ Σ(course credits)

The page displays GPA, credits, and quality points to two decimal places.
Default Assumptions
- Every entered course is eligible for LSAC conversion and uses a supported letter grade.
- Credits are already expressed in a consistent semester- or quarter-hour system.
- Transcript-specific exclusions, repeats, academic forgiveness, and international evaluation remain LSAC decisions.
Verified Example
Inputs: A+ for 3 credits, B for 4 credits, and C− for 2 credits.
Calculation: (4.33×3 + 3.00×4 + 1.67×2) ÷ 9 = 28.33 ÷ 9.
Result: Estimated LSAC GPA = 3.15.
