How the AP Biology Score Is Estimated

The calculator converts MCQ and FRQ raw points to percentages and assigns 50% of the composite to each section.

The composite is evaluated against visible, editable planning boundaries for AP scores 2 through 5.

Formula

Composite = MCQ% × 0.50 + FRQ% × 0.50

Example

48 of 60 MCQs and 25 of 34 FRQ points produce a composite of about 76.76%.

  • The predicted AP Biology score is unofficial and may differ from the released score.
